Electricity products: a review of the large-scale industrial consumer market

This study reviews the nature, source mix and, where applicable, origin of the Guarantees of Origin (GoO) of 23 electricity products from 16 suppliers of ‘green’ electricity to the large-scale industrial market.

For each of the products the following questions were answered:
  • What are the constituent energy sources?
  • Is the ‘green’ electricity sourced domestically or abroad?
  • If biomass is used, what is its composition and how is it sourced?
  • What other ‘green’ options do the providers offer besides the electricity products reviewed?
