Mobility value valued

Cost-benefit analysis of Rabobank sustainable mobility plans

In its publication ‘Sustainable mobility - Ten per cent less is more!’ (in Dutch) the Rabo Bank has set out its vision of sustainable mobility, elaborating it in the form of a corporate case study. CE has reviewed the bank’s plans as well as the case study and has estimated the attendant social costs and benefits. The main conclusion is that there are indeed substantial benefits associated with the effects presumed by the bank, but that if these high ambitions are to materialise the envisaged array of measures requires further elaboration.
