Heat supplier efficiency: monitoring over 2017 and 2018

Under Article 7 of the Dutch Heat Act, every two years the Authority for Consumers and Market (ACM) monitors the efficiencies achieved in the heat supply market. This was last done in 2015 and 2017. The aim is to create insight into the overall efficiency of each heat supplier, i.e. not only the efficiency with respect to small-scale consumers. In this report the monitoring results for 2017 and 2018 are presented.

In our work on this edition we followed the same methodology as before, enabling comparison of the results with those over 2013-2018. As in the last edition, no data were gathered on heat supplied by landlords and other leasing organisations (e.g. housing corporations).
