Nina Voulis, PhD is a senior consultant and researcher at CE Delft working in the field of sustainable energy and systems integration. Her forte is systems thinking: integrating technical, economic and policy considerations. Nina is an excellent bridge-builder, between government agencies and grid operators, or model-makers and model-users.
Nina is an experienced project leader, also in more complex projects. Moreover, she has a strong technical and scientific background. During her PhD research at Delft University of Technology she built a solid expertise in energy data and energy modelling. Prior to her PhD she worked as a researcher and consultant at Cornell University in the United States. She enjoyed a broad, multidisciplinary training as an environmental engineer at Ghent University in Belgium.
In her current position at CE Delft Nina uses her expertise to advise and support governments and industry on complex issues relating to energy supply and systems integration, at both the regional level (Regional Energy Strategies, for example) and nationally (as a project leader for the Key Energy Structure Programme, for example). Nina is your point of contact for CE Delft’s thematic work on energy supply.
