An open heat market in Zuid-Holland

CE Delft director Frans Rooijers was asked by the Zuid-Holland ‘Heat-Cold’ programme office to chair a working party charged with investigating the potential for establishing a regional open market where professional parties can trade in heat and cold (thus excluding small-scale final consumers). This brief report is to serve as input for discussions on the desirability and feasibility of such a market. On 18 November 2015 it was presented to Han Weber, delegate of Zuid-Holland Provincial Executive. The working party comprises Warmte Koude Zuid-Holland, Alliander, Berenschot, Agro Energy, E.on, Prominent, Zuid-Holland Provincial Executive, LTO Glaskracht and CE Delft.
