SKAO, the organisation that introduced the ‘CO2 performance ladder’ in 2009, is keen to know what influence the ladder is having on the market for Guarantees of Origin (GO). To examine this issue we analyzed the annual reports of Certiq, gathered information on GO market prices in interviews with selected market players and conducted a survey among companies using the performance ladder.
