Costs of EU ETS and CORSIA for European aviation

This study, for Transport & Environment (T&E), answers two questions:

1.  What are the total costs for European aviation of complying with the EU ETS allowance surrender requirement and CORSIA offsetting requirement over the period 2021-2030?
2.  Which other sectors covered by the EU ETS are also subject to additional economic requirements?

CE Delft contributed mainly to work on the second issue.

Owing to the COVID-situation, there is an add-on to the report by TAKS, taking into account the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on aviation emissions.
