Developments in the Energy System and Homeowners

The energy system of households is becoming increasingly complex. Numerous developments are impacting this energy system, such as the uncertain energy markets with fluctuating low and high energy prices. For many homeowners, these developments are difficult to navigate. Furthermore, homes and homeowners in the Netherlands are diverse, and they are affected by these developments in different ways. This research for the Vereniging Eigen Huis (VEH) provides an overview of these developments and their effects on homeowners towards 2030. The insights from this research will also form the basis for determining VEH’s approach for homeowners.
