Eindhoven Airport’s operating license for civilian flights expires in 2019. In that year the maximum permitted number of annual aircraft movements is also projected to be reached: 43,000. At the end of 2017 national and regional authorities decided to develop a joint roadmap to arrive at a perspective for the airport’s future post-2019 via a staggered process. In that framework the impacts of various scenarios have been assessed. CE Delft has contributed by calculating the impact of the scenarios on local air-pollution emissions and CO2 emissions. The results are presented in two reports: the first covers the emissions associated with landside transport and aviation LTO emissions, the second the CO2 emissions of the aircraft departing from Eindhoven.
