The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW) has conducted an inventory of plastic-containing product groups that may be eligible for additional policy measures aimed at reducing litter. These product groups include plastic-containing fireworks, drink pouches, e-cigarettes (vapes), and clothes hangers. For each of these four product groups, CE Delft explored and assessed potential new policy instruments with regard to their effectiveness in reducing litter and greenhouse gas emissions. The policy instruments were also evaluated for their legal feasibility, practical feasibility, and stakeholder support. This report presents the results for each product group.
