Every autumn, the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL) publishes the Climate and Energy Report (KEV) in collaboration with Statistics Netherlands (CBS), the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and Wageningen University and Research Centre (WUR). The most recent version, KEV 2023, outlines developments in the Dutch energy economy from 2000 to the present and expected developments until 2030. KEV 2023 also describes the effects of adopted and planned measures, including the Climate Agreement. PBL asked CE Delft to prepare an updated fact sheet for one of these measures. This memo provides an estimate of the effects of the draft decision on CO2 reduction work-related personal mobility based on the latest insights.
