Since August 2025, I have been working at CE Delft as a researcher/advisor in the Supply Chain Analysis sector. In this role, I work with life cycle assessments (LCAs) to calculate the environmental impact of products and services. I also develop tools and models to address sustainability challenges. Additionally, I have extensive knowledge on the impacts of (micro)plastic pollution in the environment.
After completing my bachelor’s degree in Biology and my master’s in Earth Sciences, I started working at The Ocean Cleanup as a researcher on plastic pollution in the ocean. Additionally, I worked at TNO as a sustainability researcher for plastics, where I focused extensively on LCAs and material flow analyses related to plastic recycling and plastic pollution. Part of my work is documented in my thesis, which I wrote at Radboud University Nijmegen: Towards a Sustainable Future for Plastics: A Global Material Flow and Life Cycle Assessment Perspective. I have also contributed to projects in areas such as carbon capture, textiles, the chemical industry, and asphalt.
I am passionate about applying my knowledge and expertise to help create a more sustainable and fairer world.
