I joined CE Delft’s Energy & Fuels sector as a researcher/consultant in September 2019. Before that I completed a master’s degree in Energy & Environmental Sciences at Groningen State University, building up extensive know-how on climate change, energy system modelling and socio-economic aspects of energy and sustainability. My master’s thesis, completed at the university’s Centre for Isotope Research, was on validation of Dutch greenhouse gas emissions (CO2 as well as CH4 and N2O) on the basis of atmospheric observations. During the study I also did a traineeship at Witteveen+Bos, working on projects in the field of electrolytic hydrogen production. My bachelor’s at Groningen State University was in Theoretical Physics. In the Energy & Fuels sector my work will be focused mainly on the themes of energy supply and sustainable industry.
