Joram Dehens works as a researcher/consultant with CE Delft’s Sustainable Cities department. He has a background as a Business Analyst at Deloitte and he obtained a degree as a Mechanical Engineer at the KU Leuven, where he specialized in Thermotechnical sciences and Energy Conversion. Because of his interests in sustainable technologies, Joram participated in several related projects: During his studies, he researched how the integration of sustainable heat generation technologies could meet the energy demand of buildings in an efficient way. As a volunteer, he was also engaged in the implementation of renewable energy in developing regions. In his current position at CE Delft Joram builds on his technical background and qualitative knowledge development to contribute to the transition towards climate-neutral urban areas.
