As a researcher in the Energy & Fuels department, I aim to contribute to the sustainability of the Dutch industry. A significant portion of the technical solutions required for a sustainable industry already exists. I am particularly interested in understanding what it takes to effectively implement these solutions.
I enjoy having an overview of the whole picture. I always strive to comprehend both the ‘how’ and the ‘why’ of a problem. This inclination drives me to leverage a combination of policy and technical knowledge to arrive at solutions.
My background is in biotechnology. Following this study, I worked for five years as a process technologist focusing on water-related issues within the industry.
