The climate crisis is one of the most serious and urgent issues we are currently facing. An insidious feature of this crisis is that it is only marginally visible in the early stages, but can eventually cause tremendous damage. While I personally want to do my part to prevent climate change as much as possible, this is also something I want to pursue in my work.
After studying Sustainable Energy Technology in Delft, I decided that I wanted to focus on policy and social aspects in addition to technology aspects because, in my opinion, this is where the major challenges for achieving a sustainable society lie. With this in mind, I spent a few years working at a knowledge institution and recently joined CE Delft. My focus areas at DE Delft are various renewable energy, systems integration and policy topics.
