Sherina Soekhlal joined CE Delft in June 2025 as a researcher/consultant in the Sustainable Cities sector. She has a strong transdisciplinary background, gained through a Bachelor’s in Environmental Sciences and a Master’s in Governance of Sustainability. The focus of Sherina’s work is on translating complex environmental issues into practical and actionable advice. She has experience in environmental monitoring & planning, applying GIS for spatial analysis, and has conducted extensive fieldwork to gain direct insights into environmental issues. She applies this expertise to help cities transition to a more sustainable future, for example, by identifying bottlenecks and proposing effective solutions for urban sustainability.
