In May 2024 I started working as a researcher in CE Delft’s Mobility & Transport division, with a focus on maritime shipping. I have a strong interest in the regulatory aspects of shipping and especially those related to sustainability. I developed my interest in shipping regulations by working as a public affairs consultant in Brussels, where I gained a good understanding of the EU legislative processes. I later worked within a shipping company in a function related to the implementation of such regulations in practice. I completed an MSc in Maritime Science at Ghent University in Belgium in 2020. Prior to that I completed in 2015 a BSc in Communications (major) and political science (minor) from Boston University in the USA, where I ran on the track & field team.
