Eindhoven Airport plays an important role in the accessibility of south-east Brabant and provides employment opportunities. At the same time, the airport affects the local environment, residents’ health and the climate. To inform discussions about the future of Eindhoven Airport and policy development towards 2035, the Province of North Brabant, the Municipality of Eindhoven and the surrounding municipalities have commissioned CE Delft to provide a comprehensive assessment of the airport’s societal value.
This broad welfare analysis examines the effects of different development scenarios on passengers, the economy, the local environment, housing development and the airport’s wider societal role.
