In 2020, a new voluntary agreement on CO2 emissions reduction in greenhouse horticulture in 2020-2030 is to replace the two standing agreements with this sector (Convenant CO2 emissieruimte glastuinbouw, Meerjarenafspraak Energietransitie Glastuinbouw). This report reviews the impact of the current agreements and two subsidy schemes: ‘Energy Efficiency in Greenhouse Horticulture’ (EG) and ‘Market Introduction of Energy Innovations’ (MEI).
