The municipality of Delft has developed a roadmap to outline the actions needed to become climate-neutral by 2050. CE Delft, together with van Vieren, facilitated the process to arrive at this roadmap.
The “Routekaart Delft Klimaatneutraal” indicates where Delft currently stands with respect to the CO2 reduction challenge and whether sufficient action is being taken to meet the targets. We provide insight into current (inter)national policies, the municipality’s own policies, and offer suggestions for additional policies or intensifications.
For this roadmap, CE Delft has calculated the effects of the existing and proposed policies using the CEKER model and outlined what the path to a climate-neutral Delft looks like. These calculations are presented in a background report. The roadmap itself has been developed by the municipality of Delft and can be found here (only in Dutch).
