I’ve been working as a researcher/consultant with CE Delft’s Mobility & Transport sector since December 2019, focusing mainly on shipping because of my know-how and background. Among the more interesting projects I’ve worked on are Incentives for on-shore power supply, Fourth IMO Greenhouse Gas Study, Comparison of CO2 emissions of MARPOL Annex VI compliance options in 2020 and Stream Freight Transport 2020.
Before joining CE Delft, in 2015 I graduated in Maritime Technology from Delft Technological University with a masters’ in Design, Production & Operation. After graduating and before joining CE Delft, I held a four-year tenure on the maintenance and repair department of a shipping company, where I helped guarantee the sailworthiness and operational efficiency of gas tankers. With this experience, I can now tie theory back to practice when working on the often complex issues that come CE Delft’s way.
