About Anne

As of December 2019, I have joined the Mobility & Transport division of CE Delft. In my position as senior researcher/consultant, I work mainly in the field of sustainable shipping which reflects my knowledge and background. Projects are carried out for government agencies, NGOs and private parties alike. Various high-profile projects I have worked on include:

  • The Fourth IMO Greenhouse Gas Study
  • Comparison of CO2 emissions of MARPOL Annex VI compliance options in 2020
  • Fleet-level compliance with the CII Regulation
  • Reliability of the quantity of bunkers supplied to the Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Antwerp-Bruges
  • Incentives for shore-side power

Before joining CE Delft, I completed my studies in Maritime Engineering at TU Delft in 2015 majoring in Design, Production & Operation. After my studies and before joining CE Delft, I worked for four years in the maintenance and repair department of a shipping company. My responsibilities involved the technical condition and operational effectiveness of gas tankers. I am able to successful apply this practical experience to the complex issues addressed by CE Delft.
