Since 2019, I have been working in the Energy & Fuels sector at CE Delft, where I am the theme leader for Electricity. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Sciences. As theme leader, I focus on issues related to the decarbonisation of the electricity system: energy system studies, electricity markets, flexibility in energy supply, grid congestion, and the integration of renewable generation.
In my projects, I take a systems approach to the energy system to clarify its complexity and the interactions between different components. Drawing on my experience with policy, economic, and spatial issues, I am able to approach challenges related to the energy system from the necessary integrated perspective. My strength lies in translating scenarios and model outcomes into concrete strategic and policy insights. Through this work, I aim to help policymakers and businesses accelerate the essential transition to a climate-neutral society.
