I’m a senior researcher/consultant on sustainable cities at CE Delft, working on policy issues. I have a multidisciplinary background, trained as a bridge-builder between technology and policy. With my experience as a policy advisor on energy and sustainability, I’m familiar with the political and policy challenges and sensitivities accompanying the energy transition.
I studied Technical Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology, specialising in the energy field, and graduated with a Master’s in Technology and Policy. I went on to work as a consultant at Ecofys and as a policy advisor and project leader at the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.
At CE Delft I’m using my policy experience to translate qualitative and quantitative research into policy.
